(1) According to the structure type ①Fixed tower crane: a tower crane that fixes the tower base frame on the foundation or structure through the connecting piece to carry out lifting operations. ②Mobile tower crane: a tower crane with a running device that can walk. The different running devices can be divided into track type, tire type and crawler type.
(2) According to the slewing type: ① Upper slewing tower crane: a tower crane whose slewing bearing is set on the upper part of the tower body. It can be divided into tower cap rotary type, tower top rotary type, upper rotary platform type, rotating column type, and so on. ② Slewing tower crane: a tower crane in which the slewing bearing is arranged at the bottom of the tower body and the tower body rotates relative to the chassis.
(3) According to the erection method: ①Non-self erection tower crane: a tower crane that relies on other lifting equipment to be assembled and erected into a complete machine. ②Self-erecting tower crane: a tower crane that can realize the mutual conversion between the transportation state and the working state by relying on its own power device and mechanism.
(4) According to the luffing method ①Trolley luffing tower crane: a tower crane in which the trolley runs along the jib for luffing. ② Luffing jib tower crane: a tower crane whose jib is luffed by pitching motion. ③ Folding arm tower crane: according to the needs of lifting operations, the jib can be bent. It can have the performance of boom luffing and trolley luffing simultaneously.
